# How to place buildings underwater or above the seabed

After learning Dive, you can use compatible construction kits on the seabed, suspended underwater or at the surface. Decide the building's position before decorating the surrounding area.

        ## Place and start the project

            - Dive to the intended location and choose a compatible construction kit from your bag.

            - Adjust the preview's position and height. For a suspended placement, the game provides temporary support blocks; check the whole footprint and entrance before confirming.

            - Supply the requested materials and select the required Pokémon. Start construction through the kit's interaction, just as you would on land.

        ## Bring suitable helpers

        Not every Pokémon can accompany you underwater. Bring helpers that actually follow you to the site and check that the required specialty is available there. A Pokémon waiting on shore is not a substitute for an eligible builder at the project.

        ## If the kit cannot be placed

        Check the kit's compatibility, nearby obstacles and the available footprint before moving the preview. Underwater placement does not remove construction requirements. Test a small project first, then add the approach route and furniture. Learning Dive belongs to the free update; entering Bubbly Basin itself requires the expansion pass.
