Fetching Scales for Feebas ran from August 13, 2026 at 05:00 to August 28 at 04:59, local time. Talking to Feebas outside a rebuilt Pokémon Center starts its friendship and exchange. Exciting beach is a separate furniture habitat that you can prepare for it; it is not the three-item arrangement used by Milotic.

        ## Buy the two pieces before adding optional decorations

            - Collect 20 Prism Scales on Dream Islands while the exchange is available. Buy one Sand bed for 10 scales and one Big swim ring for another 10. Keep the remaining budget for other purchases.

            - Place the Sand bed and Big swim ring close together in an open outdoor area. Leave space around both, and check for the Exciting beach notification before adding extra furniture.

            - If the habitat does not register, confirm the ring's item name. The ordinary Swim ring is cheaper but does not replace the Big swim ring. Move the correct two objects closer and test outside any kit-house interior.

        ## The visitor and the shopkeeper are the same friend

If Feebas is already registered as your friend, do not wait for a second copy to appear. During the event it may be occupied with its shop. Once it is free to follow, bring it to the prepared habitat and complete the home assignment. Having met it at the Center does not automatically register every habitat it can use.

        ## Keep the arrangement after the exchange closes

You can build the habitat later from furniture you saved or printed from object photos. A completed habitat does not restart the event shop. Milotic needs a different setup with the ordinary ring, Cooler and Beach volleyball set; giving Feebas extra scales does not evolve it. The two habitat purchases together cost 50 scales, before optional decorations.
