The old Gym in Bubbly Basin hides a furnished room behind its main hall. This route also supplies pieces for Kingdra's marine makeup request. It is separate from the lower Gym route used to obtain the submarine kit, so reaching that kit does not mean you have explored the back room.

        ## Reach the room through the main hall

            - Enter the old Gym east of the central district and cross the main hall toward the raised area at the back. Look for pale sand blocks between the red chairs.

            - Clear the sand with Rock Smash to expose the rear opening. Continue through the gap into the room with wave-patterned furnishings and a golden Poké Ball.

            - Collect the Marine dresser and Marine chair, then open the Ball for the overlapping-waves wallpaper recipe. Keep a furniture reference if you want to preserve the patterns for painting.

        ## Complete Kingdra's request with all three pieces

Speak to Kingdra when its habitat request appears. Place the Marine dresser, Marine chair and a Marine closet together. The closet can be recovered beside the hatch to the hidden Ditto room near the bicycle shop, or crafted once its recipe is unlocked.

        ## Report the completed habitat

Wait for the marine makeup habitat to register, bring Kingdra within range and speak to it again. The completed request awards four Gold ingots. Placing only the dresser and chair leaves the habitat unfinished; collecting the wallpaper recipe alone does not create any of its furniture.
