# How to learn Camouflage and copy nearby objects

Camouflage lets Ditto imitate a nearby object. Learning it is a normal story activity in Bleak Beach; you do not need to wait for a seasonal event.

## Finding the disguised Zorua

- Advance the story in Bleak Beach until the request to brighten the town has begun.

- Return to the area in front of the Pokémon Center. Look for Zorua disguised as a block and interact with it.

- Complete its request and finish the dialogue that teaches Camouflage. Check that the move appears in your ability selection before leaving.

## Copying an object

Stand in front of the object you want to imitate, select Camouflage and use the move button. The target must be close and in front of you. The transformation copies its appearance; it does not add the original object to your inventory.

You can move while disguised and jump if you have already learned how. Try a small object in an open space first, where you can clearly see whether the transformation has worked.

## If copying does not work

Large structures such as houses cannot be copied simply because they are visible. Try an ordinary smaller object and check your facing direction. The move is used in the disguise game with Zorua and in activities that explicitly ask you to imitate objects, including seasonal surprises. Copying an object alone does not automatically activate an event interaction.
