The Expansion Pass purchase bonuses use two claim routes. The dynamic Ditto designs are recipes received through the main menu, while the 30 Rare Pokémetal bonus arrives through a personal emailed code. Buying the pass does not automatically place both rewards in your bag.

Receive the recipes through the DLC menu
- Install the available game updates and use a profile that can access the purchased Expansion Pass. Connect the console to the internet before checking the bonus.
- Press +, open Downloadable Content, select Check Items and choose Receive. Look for the dynamic Ditto print recipes in the crafting menu afterward.
- Use a workbench to craft the block or wallpaper version once you have its materials. Receiving a recipe does not create finished decorations, so an empty furniture bag does not mean the claim failed.
Redeem the separate email code
Find the message sent to the Nintendo Account used to purchase or redeem the pass. At a town PC, open Get Items, Mystery Gifts and Get with Code/Password, then enter that personal code. The advertised purchase deadline is 31 August 2027 and the redemption deadline is 30 September 2027; receiving the email alone does not redeem its contents.
Check the right route if something is missing
For recipes, check Downloadable Content and your crafting menu. For the material bonus, check the purchaser's registered email, spam folder and Mystery Gift history. These claims need internet access but no Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The free update also offers the dynamic pattern through Smearguru after obtaining the diploma, so DLC ownership is not its only unlock route.
