Connect two islands with lift platforms

Face the stations toward each other and reduce distance or slope when the cable fails to appear.

Connect two islands with lift platforms walkthrough

Lift platforms provide a cable connection across gaps and can carry following Pokémon. They are different from the vertical Elevator platforms used with ladders. A clear route and compatible station positions matter more than decorating the departure point first.

Connect two islands with lift platforms

Build and test a simple connection

  1. Advance Tinkmaster's introductory requests in Sparkling Skylands to learn the Lift platform recipe. Each station uses five Iron ingots, five Concrete and one Tinkagear.
  2. Place one station on each side of the intended gap, facing the stations toward one another. Begin with similar elevations and keep the space between them clear.
  3. Wait for the automatic cable connection, then test the ride before bringing helpers or building permanent access paths around the stations.

Correct the geometry before replacing both stations

A connection fails if the stations are too far apart, the slope is too steep or objects block the route. Bring the second station closer to a matching height and test again. For a much larger climb, use intermediate terrain and another pair rather than assuming one cable can reach anywhere.

Keep the arrival route usable

Leave an open path from the arrival station to the worksite so followers can step off and continue. A working cable does not guarantee that a large Pokémon fits through a narrow doorway afterward. Test the full trip with the helpers you actually need before starting a construction request.
