Professor Tangrowth's home is a post-story request unlocked at Environment Level 7 in Withered Wastelands. It is not enough to place a generic bed near the Pokémon Center: accept his request so you can obtain the special Professor's treasure trove object needed for the habitat.
Build the requested home in order
- Finish the main story, raise the local Environment Level to 7 and speak to Professor Tangrowth when he offers the home request. Receive the special treasure-trove object through that sequence.
- Place it with four appraised large lost relics and one bed. Group the objects so Professor's treasure trove registers, then bring the professor over and complete the move-in dialogue.
- After reporting the home request, accept the follow-up. Place a campfire near his home, light it and speak to him again to finish.
Use appraised displays rather than unidentified finds
The four large relics must be displayable objects, not merely unopened lost finds in your bag. Appraise what you collected before arranging the habitat. Keep the special treasure-trove item separate from the four relics in your material count.
If the campfire does not finish the task
Check that the home request has been reported and the campfire follow-up accepted. Put the lit fire beside the actual registered home rather than by the professor's old location. The task checks this new arrangement; a fire elsewhere in town is not the same setup.
