Vespiquen offers furniture with special patterns through its honey exchange. This service is separate from recolouring an item: first you obtain the patterned furniture by trading the honey it requests.
Unlock and use the exchange
- Create Field of Flowers and meet Vespiquen. The habitat needs eight flower patches, not merely a single decorative flowerpot.
- Collect at least three honey. Check sparkling flower areas and the ground around Combee's home.
- Speak to Vespiquen while carrying the honey and choose its special exchange. Inspect the available furniture before confirming.
- Exchange three honey for the selected piece. Use the exchange dialogue, rather than handing over the honey through an ordinary gift conversation.
Work towards a particular pattern
Check the daily selection before gathering a huge supply for a specific item. Several choices can be offered, but a desired piece or pattern is not guaranteed on every visit. If more than one available item suits your build, you can make further exchanges by bringing more honey.
Use the reward in a habitat
Choose furniture by function as well as appearance. A patterned version still needs to match the actual furniture requirement of the habitat. The special pattern itself does not replace missing objects, power or environmental conditions. Keep spare honey separately from building materials so routine barter does not consume the supply reserved for this service.
