Unlock the frame with repeated purchases, or plan 15 candies for both habitats and the frame and 20 for every reward.

Trick or Treat frame: nine exchanges and the best candy budgets walkthrough

The Trick or Treat photo frame rewards nine item exchanges with Pumpkaboo. You can repeat purchases: you do not have to collect nine different decorations just for the frame.

Frame only9Buy Huge table nine times, in separate exchanges.
Both habitats11Buy the five habitat items and reuse a table.
Both habitats and frame15Buy the five habitat items, then four copies of Huge table.
One of every reward and frame20Buy each of the nine different rewards once.

These totals are calculated from the shop prices. For the frame-only route, Huge table is the cheapest reward at one candy each. Make nine separate exchanges. This route leaves you without the special furniture needed for either habitat.

Both habitats and the frame for 15 candies

  1. Buy Candy bucket and Ghost smoke projector: 5 candies, two exchanges.
  2. Buy Trevenant streetlight, Pumpkin lantern and Pumpkin lantern tower: 6 more candies, three more exchanges.
  3. Buy Huge table four times: 4 more candies, four more exchanges. Use one table for Pumpkaboo's habitat.

You have now made nine exchanges, spent 15 candies and bought everything required for both habitats. The spare tables are the trade-off for reaching the frame threshold cheaply. If you prefer a complete decoration collection, spend 20 candies on one of every reward instead.

Claim the frame before the counter closes

Continue the conversation with Pumpkaboo after your ninth exchange and check your photo frames. If it has not appeared, count completed purchases rather than candies spent or furniture placed. The collection-and-exchange window ends November 1, 2026 at 04:59, local console time.

There is no separate candy price for the frame. Extra copies of decorations can be bought during the event, but every exchange still costs candy. Complete your intended purchases before spending candy on decorative duplicates.
