A hidden room in Bubbly Basin contains a guaranteed Ditto doll and Ditto-patterned furniture. Its entrance is a hatch inside a ruined house, rather than an obvious cave door. Bring Rock Smash and leave enough bag space to collect the objects you want.

Uncover the hatch beside the closet
- From the central district, head toward the old bicycle shop marked by a Doduo sign. Search the house ruins just below it on the route toward the Pokémon Center cave.
- Find the marine closet partly surrounded by pale blocks. Carefully remove the blocks and debris beside it, checking the wooden floor for the concealed hatch rather than dismantling the entire building.
- Open the hatch and descend the ladder. In the Ditto-themed room, collect the doll and open the golden Poké Ball containing the fanned-out Ditto wallpaper recipe.
Use furniture to preserve a pattern reference
If you want Smearguru to learn the room's patterns, take a patterned piece of furniture or an object-mode photo of that furniture. A block with the same pattern does not replace the furniture reference. Keep the marine closet too if you intend to build the marine makeup habitat later.
Check what the recipe unlocks
The golden Poké Ball teaches wallpaper. It does not automatically grant the corresponding solid block recipe. Keep the doll as a separate item for Dream Island travel, and leave the hatch accessible so you can return for furniture that did not fit in your bag.
