Bubbly Basin has a coral-themed hidden room with a fixed Clefairy doll. This is a useful alternative to waiting for the doll in a shop. Bring Dive, Rock Smash and food that strengthens Cut, because the corridor's obstruction differs from the ordinary sand around town.

Enter the corridor beside the stairs
- From the central district, find the large stairs by the pale bridge. Inspect the low brick-lined passage immediately beside the stairs, recognizable by the pink coral near its entrance.
- Enter and follow the corridor. Check the right-hand wall for the obstructing rock-patterned blocks and coral rather than continuing to dig into the open seabed.
- Use powered-up Cut to clear the obstruction, or powered-up Rock Smash on the breakable wall. Enter the room containing aquariums, coral-patterned furnishings and a golden Poké Ball.
Collect the doll and the wallpaper separately
Pick up the Clefairy doll and open the Ball for the colorful-corals wallpaper recipe. The doll is a separate furnishing; learning the wallpaper does not automatically add it to your bag. Search the room before leaving if one of the two is still missing.
Preserve a furniture reference for the patterns
For Smearguru, take a piece of patterned furniture or an object reference photo of it. A patterned block alone will not teach the pattern. The recipe found here is wallpaper, while solid patterned blocks have their own unlock routes. Keep the corridor open for a later visit if your bag is full.
