All Outfits and Hairstyles: Where to Find Every Human Record

How Human Records unlock looks, where to find all 27 outfits in the story areas, on Dream Islands and in Bubbly Basin, plus every hairstyle and how to change clothes.

All Outfits and Hairstyles: Where to Find Every Human Record walkthrough

There are no clothing shops in Pokémon Pokopia. Instead, Ditto learns new looks from the Human Records people left behind: magazines, newspapers and letters scattered around Kanto and on the Dream Islands. Some of them unlock outfits, hairstyles or emotes. This guide lists where to find every outfit and how to change your look.

How Human Records work

  • Human Records show a yellow sparkle when you get close. Press A to pick them up.
  • If the record contains a look, you can wear it straight away or save it for later. Either way it stays in your wardrobe.
  • Change clothes and hair at any time by interacting with a mirror, wardrobe or dressing table. Every outfit also unlocks its separate top so you can mix pieces.
  • You start with two Familiar outfits and several basic hairstyles.

Hairstyles

  • From the start: short, pigtails, buns, two-block cut, braided pigtails, locs and shaved.
  • Withered Wastelands: parted and mermaid hair.
  • Dream Islands: curly, fluffy, winged pigtails, long bangs, simple and sideswept.
  • Bubbly Basin: crested (on an island) and ponytail (in a house on an island above the water); long, messy short and side tails on the Starmie Doll Dream Island.

Update 2.0.0 also added five new hair colors: orange, light pink, yellow-green, blue-green and brown.

Tip: on every Dream Island trip, sweep the whole island for yellow sparkles before leaving. Records are the only source of most outfits, and each island is different, so a missed record may take many visits to show up again.
