Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest in Pokemon Pokopia: Requirements, Multiplayer, and Rewards
Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest is a limited-time Pokemon Pokopia event in which you use Camouflage to hide from Zorua and other Pokémon. This guide collects only the rules and requirements confirmed by official Pokémon sources; the full reward list has not yet been announced.

Event Schedule
The event runs from July 19, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. until July 27, 2026, at 4:59 a.m., using your local time.
Requirements to Start the Event
- Update Pokemon Pokopia to version 1.1.1.
- Set the Nintendo Switch 2 clock to the real date and time. The event does not appear outside its scheduled period.
- Connect the console to the internet when launching the event for the first time.
- Rebuild at least one Pokémon Center.
- Complete Zorua's request in Bleak Beach and unlock the regular Hide-and-Sneak activity.
How to Enter the Contest
- Launch the game during the event period after installing version 1.1.1.
- Find Zorua standing in front of a rebuilt Pokémon Center.
- Talk to Zorua and choose to participate in the contest.
- Use Camouflage to take the appearance of a nearby object and avoid being found by the seeker Pokémon.
Completing the round quickly improves your record and awards items based on your performance.
Solo and Multiplayer Records
Another Player's Town
The host and guests can all join. The fastest completion time among the participants becomes that town's best record, but the event prize is awarded only to the host. Players in spectator mode cannot participate.
Cloud Island
Every player on the Cloud Island can join. The fastest participant sets that Cloud Island's best record, and only the player who achieved that record receives the prize.
Confirmed Rewards
Official announcements confirm that faster completions grant corresponding items and that special rewards depend on your best record. A trophy is among those rewards. The exact items, time requirements, and complete reward table have not been published yet, so they are not listed here.
If the Event Does Not Appear
- Confirm that the title screen shows version 1.1.1 and that the console is online.
- Check the system clock and make sure you have completed Zorua's Bleak Beach request.
- If you meet the requirements while already in a town, travel to another town or quit the game from the main menu, then return.
- Before starting online play in your own town, talk to Zorua and listen to the event explanation.
