During Hoppip's event, start by speaking to it outside a rebuilt Pokémon Center. Its introduction unlocks the exchanges inside. The next task is gathering Cotton Spores on Dream Islands; ordinary flowers or materials collected in town do not replace this event currency.

Make each Dream Island visit count
- Ask Drifloon to take you to a base-game Dream Island. Explore the ground and ledges, collecting the white floating tufts as you go, rather than searching only the arrival area.
- Return to the Center and exchange some spores for Dandy flower seeds first. Plant and water them so they can grow while you collect the remaining furniture.
- Plan around one new Dream Island per day. Returning to the same island is useful for missed tufts, but does not guarantee a fresh supply.
Use a habitat that targets the missing Pokémon
Four grown Dandy flowers make Yellow carpet, shared by the three species. For a more focused search, attract Skiploom with a Lunch box, Flowery backpack and Hoppip water bottle. For Jumpluff, group a Flower cushion, Flowery table setting, Lunch box and one grown Dandy flower. Keep each arrangement close together and wait for its habitat to register.
If nobody appears
Seeds do not count as grown flowers, and unrelated yellow flowers are not substitutes. Check the habitat's identity before waiting for a visitor. Hoppip does not evolve into the other two in this game: meet each separately and complete its friendship dialogue. This procedure describes the temporary event, rather than promising that its shop is always open.
